Rose of Sharon Equestrian School would not exist without two groups of very special people: our dedicated volunteers and YOU the charitable individual! It takes thousands of volunteer hours every month to keep this unique program going and it takes thousands of dollars of financial support each month, as well.

ROSES has voluntarily joined the Maryland Association of Non-Profit Organizations as a way of monitoring its ability to meet high standards of ethics and accountability in the governance and management of the organization.

"How do I know that Rose of Sharon's facilities and programs are worthwhile?"

ROSES is a member center of the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.) whose mission is to foster safe, professional, ethical, and therapeutic equine activities through education, communication, standard-setting, and research for people with and without disabilities. All instruction at the School is conducted by PATH Intl.-certified therapeutic riding instructors. The head instructor has been certified in Special Education by the Maryland State Department of Education.

The stable and grounds of Rose of Sharon Equestrian School are inspected and licensed by the Maryland Department of Agriculture and the Maryland Horse Industry Board.
